| APPLIED BEHAVIOR ANALYSIS (ABA) |
Mediated Learning takes a comprehensive ABA approach to treating children with autism and related disorders. Following assessment, our team of therapists will create an individualized program of interventions to promote the acquisition of skills and to address negative behaviors. Discrete Trial Teaching is blended with a full range of other ABA interventions in a complementary approach matched to the specific needs of the student. Therapists will continually monitor and document a student’s progress to determine the effectiveness of particular intervention methods.
Mediated Learning recognizes that no one method of instruction is suited to all children with autism and related disorders. By combining discrete-trial procedures with a variety of other ABA methods (e.g., chaining, shaping, task-analysis, incidental teaching, etc.,) Mediated Learning helps students develop the cognitive, social, academic, and functional living skills needed for success at school and at home.

Mediated Learning’s consultation services are flexible to suit the individual needs of each family. These services are available on a monthly or as-need basis.
